FAMILY PROMOTION & PROTECTION
The Family Program has the mandate to promote and protect the family as outlined in article 45 of the constitution.
Article 45 of the Constitution of Kenya is clear that the family institution is a fundamental unit of
society and shall enjoy state recognition and protection. On this basis, the Kenya Christian
Professionals Forum has taken upon itself to protect , defend and support legislation that protects this
natural fundamental unit, the Family. In order to be more effective and productive, KCPF works with
other organizations, including Government of Kenya’s Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, which
share the same interests in the matters of family to form the National Family Consortium.
