RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

Article 32(2) of the Kenyan Constitution mentions that, “Every person has the right, either individually or in community with others, in public or in private, to manifest any religion or belief through worship, practice, teaching or observance, including observance of a day of worship.”  KCPF believes in the unity of all Christians regardless of their denomination. This is in compliance with Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21 that all believers may be one. It is against this background that at the beginning of every year, the leadership and members of the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum together with other invited guests gather to pray for different personal and corporate needs.

Rotationally, the prayers are normally led by church leaders from the three major partners of the organization that is the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops, Evangelical Alliance of Kenya and the National Council of Churches of Kenya. The prayers are normally held as a reminder about our common purpose as Christians to pray.
