Article 45 of the Constitution of Kenya is clear that the family institution is a fundamental unit of society and shall enjoy state recognition and protection. On this basis, the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum has taken upon itself to protect, defend and support legislation that protects this natural fundamental unit, the Family. In order to be more effective and productive, KCPF works with other organizations including the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection that share the same interests in the matters of family to form the National Family Consortium.

In commemoration of the International Day of the Family and in line with our objective of promotion and protection of the family, the KCPF together with the National Family Consortium holds an annual conference of the family that brings together different stakeholders both public and non-state organizations and institution to discuss issues that affect the family institution and also to showcase the achievements that have been realized in the upholding of the family.
