Effortlessly Bringing Change

Effortlessly Bringing Change

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we all became one…if everyone put their differences aside and lived like one big family. No need to wonder anymore because at KCPF we believe that as humans we are from one origin and are one family. To achieve this agenda KCPF has been able to put in place different functions and bodies to make this a reality.

This was clearly displayed at the 2nd Angaza Fundraising Dinner which was held at the Sarova Panafric on the 10th November 2017. The event was graced by people from different walks of life and sectors with the aim of facilitating a course that is of benefit to every individual and the nation at large.

The guest speaker was Valentine Gitoho whose main point was developing a culture of ethical giving in Africa and across all generations. What stood out was the presentation she made elaborating how people show kindness to different people in terms of helping a stranger, volunteering their time and money itself.

The chair of KCPF, Mrs. Ann Mbugua challenged that giving is not only a matter of money but its more of giving yourself in terms of time, being involved and being part of the journey as this great transition occurs through mass engagement. The giving that excites the most is the giving of the Macedonia churches, in the midst of severe trial their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity, for they gave as much as they were able and even beyond their ability” 2Corinthians 8:1-7.

The bible should be the Constitution of Christians; it should govern every aspect of their life and should be able to be reflected in their day to day activities. As the KCPF family we believe that stirring one another towards love and good works allows us to shape our thinking here on earth and always having at the back of our minds that it is better to give than to receive. This doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t  ask for help, it just means that we should not always be on the receiving end because we all have something that has been deposited in us by our father in heaven, something that truly defines our purpose.

Angaza Campaign aims raise funds to support different programmes aimed at creating more influence in Kenya and beyond in terms of policies, legislation and governance and to influence policy makers and the church for Christians to gain ascendancy.

Despite the current political atmosphere, the guests showed up in numbers just to ensure that this cause will be accomplished and having in their minds that our labor in the Lord is never in vain for in due time we shall be rewarded. So let us develop a habit of giving for whenever we do so, we’re giving away some part of our greed. One question I would want you to ask yourself is, are you faithful, fruitful and frequent in your giving?
